RESERVATIONS:  To reserve, we need 25% of your rental fee at the time of booking.  The balance plus a refundable damage deposit of $250 is due no less than three weeks before your arrival. The full deposit will be returned to you by check or PayPal after your departure, upon inspection of the house and finding it undamaged.  We do put that in writing in our contract.

For a shopping fee of $50 plus the cost of items, we can arrange to have extras of any of our staples on hand and any grocery items of your choice.  Please give as much notice as you can as to what you will need.

CHECK IN:  Check in time is 2PM.  You may arrive any time after that until 10PM.  We will meet you when you arrive to give you the keys and a brief tour of things you will need to know in the house.  Please let us know your approximate arrival time as soon as you can so we can plan the day.  If flying, it is helpful for us to have your flight information so we can check ETAs online on the day of your arrival in case of delays, or inclement weather.

CANCELLATION:  If you need to cancel please do so as early as possible before your scheduled dates.  We can return reservation deposits only when/if another rental comes in to cover the dates you give up, minus a $40 cancellation fee.  The sooner you cancel, the more likely we can re-book.

SHOWING THE  HOUSE:  For our mutual safety we do not show, or share the street address of the house without a signed contract and reservation deposit.  Anyone could pose as a potential guest and use the information they collect for an illicit purpose.  Insisting upon a deposit weeds out the criminal element and is as much protection for you as it is for us. 

When we have your commitment to rent, we will send you two copies of our contract.  Please sign and return both with your deposit.  We will sign one copy and return it to you.  That copy will have the street address printed in the header.  The address used for mailing is our office, which you can use for all paper correspondence and official documentation relating to your trip.

If you have special circumstances that require you to see the house before renting, please inquire.  We will do our best to balance your needs with the security of the house and other guests.
